Failing

I've been going at the is for over seven years, and in that time, I've achieved relatively little compared to others who have been blogging for a similar length of time. The thing is, I hate failure - I will do everything I can to avoid it, even if that means giving up. That's where the problem lies, I've seen myself fall so far behind in a field I love that I've more or less given up, because that's been easier than admitting defeat at something that I've invested so much time and energy into. You may think I'm ridiculous - surely there's no such thing as defeat in blogging? For me, at least, there is.

Seven years, thousands of posts later and I've only got 700 instagram followers.
Seven years, thousands of posts later and I've only had 11 views on my latest blog post.
Seven years, thousands of posts later and I've never been invited to a blogger event.

It wears on you, so much effort and so little success. I am a results-oriented person and I always have been. Right now, according to my own standards, I'm failing.

Now I just need to decide if I'm going to keep going and try to improve myself or am I going to give up entirely.

Who knows?
