In case you’ve been living under a rock for the last few years, Jeffree Star is known for his bright and bold personality that is perfectly personified in his OTT cosmetics line. Never one to be dull, his Skin Frost highlighter collection is like nothing currently on the market, but as I’m not quite as brave as I like to think I am when it comes to makeup, I chose one of the more subtle shades, Princess Cut, as an introduction to the wacky world that is JS.

First thoughts: DAMN, this stuff is blinding! I mean INTENSE, and boy do I love it. I knew what I was getting myself into when I added this to my shopping bag, and Jeffree certainly isn’t one to disappoint. Princess Cut is a beautifully iced baby pink-lavender that gives a stunning cool-toned brightness to the cheeks. I seriously cannot fault this highlighter - the colour is gorgeous, the texture is buttery and it applies like a dream. Let’s just say I’m a fan.

This bad boy is a stunner but I just can’t bring myself to give it 5 stars because of the size of it. It’s great value for money but not particularly travel-friendly which is a quality that I’m always looking for in my makeup stash.
